  • What did you do in post? Add contrast mainly? What program do you use? It looks beautiful.

  • @jazzmatik Thank you.

Yes, mainly I added contrast, adjusted hue/saturation, and added lens effects like vignettes, gradients, and soft edges.

I used After Effects to do all the work with Magic Bullet Looks helping me out on a couple shots. All the AE work (excluding the MBL shots) was done with out of the box plug-ins, nothing fancy.

  • Awesome, thanks for sharing, it's interesting to know your workflow. I suggest getting a good prime lens and a macro lens for even more dynamic shots.

  • @jazzmatik

Yeah I was waiting for my lens adapter when I shot this so I couldn't use my old primes until about a week later. I have a set of primes and a macro that I can use now so it's all good

  • much, MUCH better video than the original, lol, did you ask them for their permission to use the song? If so, you should post it on their wall man.

  • No I never did ask them but I'm sure they're cool with it. They're letting me use their shirts in my next movie so I'm sure using their song for a 2 minute clip is alright.

I wanted to add that pop up 'Buy this song on iTunes' thing but didn't know how.

  • Yeah I'm sure they wouldn't care, but you should post it and see what they think, perhaps you could make their next one!!!

  • Oh yeah I would be very upset if I got that vignetting from the lens

  • Thank goodness.

  • Yes
