  • well one thing is for sure...it IS takeing ak mags...

  • That is some serious rpm.

  • what a great sound track, im gonna put this one next time my wife and i.....you know!

  • haha Knob Creek

  • @kingjoey1974 You're looking at it the wrong way mate, Look how he releases the mag. Its a basic SKS mag release. He has to pull it towards the trigger instead of towards the mag like an AK.

I believe this is just a fully modified piece. Looks like it shoots really nice too!

  • Outstanding! The profile is of an SKS-M. Lucky dog!

  • @opiatkiinq

It also has the "cleaning rod holder" instead of a bayonet lug. Those were found on the SKS-M and SKS-D although many of the early D models had an actual bayo lug

There isn't a simple conversion kit to convert the rifle even though several "claim" to make one. The reason that there is no simple kit is because the AK mag is wider than the well in the SKS receiver. To convert to an AK mag requires modifying the triggergroup and adding an AK-type mag catch, milling the bolt, and milling out the magwell to accept the wider AK mag. You also have to add a front mag catch to the receiver as well. I have never seen a successful conversion

  • @kingjoey1974 it could be, or it could just be the simple conversion part they sell for a regular sks to make it accept ak mags, there's no telling from that distance, and any sks can be converted to full auto, by far one of the most easiest.. and yes there are a few manf selling the conversion kit, just google or youtube it...

  • It is an SKS-M that was converted to full-auto. Note the AK magazines.
