Use a cheap ultra sonic Jewlery cleaner with Coca-Cola for 15 min... Heat up a large glass of distilled water NOT TAP WATER in the microwave... Rinse the atty with the hot distilled water and dry atty with air compressor, blow dryer or slow dry on a towel... LIKE NEW EVERY TIME!!!

As soon as I seen the title I thought "sure it will work, it's that acid that's going to do the cleaning". I wonder if this would work for cartomizers as well or if it would jack up the packing in them. Probably easier to just replace them at under $2 a pop anyway. Cool vid though!

Fructose is sugar from fruit. Coke will eat thru anything including your teeth : (

corn syrup will caramelize just like sugar does. Ive been cleaning my ego tank atty's with just water(water though it like 4 or 5 times and let it soak for about 5 mins..in near boiling water) and that seems to work pretty good. Maybe the coke will work to get rid of some of the gunk that water leaves behind. Will try it some time for sure.

Even before I watched I knew this would work just fine as I have used it many times to remove the fouling from rifles (Not my own, but British Army Issue), the other possibility is white vinegar as a logical progression,as that de-fouls as well as coke on a rifle..essentially you are doing the same job as they are both high heat deposits that have a carbon and propellant base....i'll post the results if it works, if not i'll just crawl back under my rock ;)

so wonder if you just took a swig of the coke (don't um swallow) and blow the coke thru the atty? hmmm....i read not to use sugar-based flavs in the atty, and coke is sugar-based 4sure.

@iloozyun I don't think they have used sugar in Coke for years. With Coke in hand, here are the ingredients:
carbonated water, high fructrose corn syrup, caramel color, prosphoric acid, natural flavors, caffeine.
