    LOL! I know, right?

  • @Nancy9972

    I agree. ;)

  • 1:24 GODAMMIT YOU TWO!! WHY DIDN'T YOU GO FOR IT!?

  • My favorite Astaire-Rogers dance. The way she falls gently backwards and he catches her is the most elegant, romantic, beautiful thing I have ever seen.

  • I also want to add that Fred's acting had really improved at this point. Don't misunderstand me, I'm not implying that he was ever BAD, he was just never really challenged as an actor before this. But in this scene, he conveys so many emotions, and it's beautifully executed.

  • This is probably the sexiest dance Fred and Ginger ever did (tied with "Night and Day" from "The Gay Divorcee"). You can really FEEL the tension between them, and, yes, the moment at 1:24 is heartbreakingly gorgeous. I love the longing expression on Fred's face, and the graceful way his hand is placed on her back. Notice how Ginger's lips are parted ever so slightly, as if pleading for his touch. Just... wow!

  • I LOVE this movie !!!! thank you for posting this !!! in my opinion this is the most romantic movie scene !!!!

  • Great team.

  • I think this is the most beautiful dance Astaire & Rogers ever did together: her gown, the choreography, the Irving Berlin music - nothing else compares.

  • That was so shweet <3 X-)
