  • @Pythonfreak1000 Ok. Now that you've cleared up your motives for watching Monty Python, can we go on and have a laugh at Python again? I know you Americans prefer humour based on insulting each other by various means and phrases, but civilized society still does appreciate humour as it was at its peak in the mid-nineties. Trouble is, the Algonian Prizes Sketch was one of their simplest, and therefore least funny ones. Don't insult others, ironically or not.

  • @Pythonfreak1000 We're sorry you feel that way, but we did want a block of flats.

  • @Pythonfreak1000 -We`re all really sorry about...whatever it is. You will be sure to tell us what to laugh at in the next episode, won`t you? (Here`s an extra "U" for your humor) I won`t call you a scary loony for a pound.
  • You drop sixteen tons and what do you get, a flat Eric Idle and the end of a sketch.

  • ,you only find it to be the case because they make references that are indicative of a possessing a more lofty brand of social or intellectual capital which excites you in that it gives you an opportunity to communicate the social world you aspire to inhabit so you laugh equally or more at a reference to proust or sartre as you would at the planet algon sketch because you don't recognize the difference and you have never been in it for the humor.

  • Typical python fans...not a single one of you mentions anything about perhaps their funniest skit...prices on planet algon...the reason being, that most python fans and most likely the ones who have posted here don't care for the comedy but merely watch it because it signifies a certain intellectual stature that they (and you all) wish to associate yourself with, you decieve yourselfs by believing it is a higher brand of humor, (which it is) but not a single one you understand why that is

  • @MartialRulerMaster I'll say it for a pound.

  • I'm probably saying this for the 100th time, but Eric is Sexy!!!

  • "And what we must do now is to use devices like radar to locate the bull and SAM missiles fired from underground silos, to knock the bull over. Then I would send in Scottish boys with air cover to provide a diversion for the bull, whilst the navy came in round the back and finished him off" Only marginally less sportslike than bullfights today (How much help does this Matador NEED, anyway?!)

"The satellite has found a bird! The probe has struck crumpet and she looks pretty good too!"

  • lol Aldebaran is in Taurus, not Sagittarius. :P

I won't share this fact for a pound.
