Mass Effect 2 Project: Overlord (Part 5 of 5)

Hello! Okay, so i'll be upfront, this is my first real video editing project... it took me a while to edit it, and make it interesting (i cut about a half hour of walking around blindly out of it), but it's here :D

When i started recording this, it was mostly out of boredom. I just opened up Fraps, and started recording when the mission got interesting. Then i realized i might be able to make this into a video, and here's the result... it is rough around the edges, but i tried. There's only so much you can do with video from a guy playing a mission he's never seen before! My next video should be a lot smoother :)

Anyway, Project Overlord is probably one of the most exciting/creepy missions in the game. It's a DLC package that doesn't come with the game, but i highly recommend that you guys get it if you're a ME2 fan; you won't be disappointed! The only level that's better than this one (In my opinion that is), is the last mission of the game.

This video is the fourth part of a 5 part series. I cut it up at seemingly odd places so that it would run smoother, so just watch through the playlist! It's about 42 minutes long, and hopefully, interesting to you guys :) Let me know what you think!

This is probably the best DLC i've played so far

I remember when i first played it i was really creeped out

I felt really bad for David :(

@prozakk70 Same. Firewalker was okay, but i liked Overlord much more. It was a really good DLC.

Still not a good one to be playing in the middle of the night though O_o

And no problem. Figured i'd do something useful with my i7 for once.

I worked really hard on this, not so much playing the game, but editing the video and trying to make it all flow together... and the format just seemed logical. H.264 at 720p since i don't have a 1080p monitor, but i do have one that's slightly higher than 720p.

@xResidentEvilFan David is autistic, and is obsessed with numbers and math, which is what allowed him to understand the Geth. David was always repeating random mathematical equations involving square roots. I don't think it means anything, just that it shows how David's mind works and what he's always thinking about.

@xResidentEvilFan Its basically what your imagination will tell you,but ill explain things a bit.The equation 906.01 is 30.1 and so on,is one of the first things Davids brother taught him(David is the guy being tortured).As you probably know he wanted to mix a human with a geth and create an ultimate AI,and used his brother for that cause.As you see David couldnt take it and degraded bit by bit,he could be repeating that as to say:"Did i meet your expectations",or crying for help.You decide.
