what sane world are you talking about? u mean the one where US and Europe are worried about their debt crisis? where social values are declining? where the poor are dying because of too little food and the rich due to too much depression?
What useful things Islam has given us? go read history of the Golden Age, it was Islam that first introduced universities and hospitals, pension system some of which western secular countries are proud of. Islam enlightened the world!
