my dog followed me out on my run once and has since never followed because I exhausted him but I live in an rural area and my dog is not leashed so they get their exercise whenever they want by chasing after noises and etc.

@lickedchrome I agree some dogs have soft paw pads but this dog is obviously not in any pain so I reckon he'll have built up the toughness of his pads over time - it's the same with people - some of us need to wear shoes in rougher terrain than others need to. The emergency services are better drivers than you are giving them credit for - they are used to vehicles in the road! They're taking up more space than a person on a bike, but no more than a car. I wish you as much happiness as this dog

@coaxialgyro The dog is clearly enjoying himself - all his body language signals say so. This is not a dog who has been forced. Dogs need mental and physical stimulation just like humans and what ~is~ cruel is that we as humans can choose to be lazy, but dogs have it imposed upon them. This dog's lucky to have an owner who is willing to put so much time and effort into him.

Too funny. Folks actually think dogs don't want to work! Just how stupid have Americans become?
how's that? Dog's like to run and get neurotic sitting around all day.
