Ricardos Mediterranean Kitchen - BEST

Locals know and the locals have voted Ricardos Mediterranean Kitchen the Best restaurant in Kelowna in a range of categories.
Wednesday around 10am we received a call from Sue, Ricardos wife and co owner of Ricardos Mediterranean Kitchen in Winfield BC.
At 1 30pm we were there meeting Sue and Ricardo for the first time. Wow. What great people, dedicated and passionate, its not surprising that their restaurant is so highly rated and honored by awards. These awards dont come from food critics but from people who eat out, and the best critics are people who frequent restaurants.
We have never dined at Ricardos Mediterranean Kitchen but look forward to doing that nowand doing it on a night when there is live Jazz played by local musicians.
I have always wanted to film restaurants, especially food preparation I am a big fan of Iron Chef and I love food and video so its a natural indulgence of my passions.
But wait, we met Sue and something else became very apparent, the passion that Sue and Ricardo have for the restaurant business. Not from a business perspective but from a service perspective, the philosophy is really quite simple.
Great food, great price, great service and they will come. They have poured their soul into Ricardos Mediterranean Kitchen working up to 7 days a week 12 14 hours a day, and they still find time to laugh and be happy.
Cindy and I are meeting passionate people every day who through vision and hard work are accomplishing amazing things, so now one of my dreams will be making a video, a long video showing these people and the passion that drives them, the work they put in and the things they are accomplishing. Its amazing.
As for now we look forward to dining at Ricardos Mediterranean Kitchen, filming food preparation, great music and atmosphere and sharing Sue and Ricardo with the world through our YouTube videos.
PS I hear Gordon Ramsey will be coming to the Okanagan but in the mean time it sounds like Ricardo will challenge my audio editing with colorful words.
