Around Christmas 2010 we asked for €2000 to enable the ACTION & CARE TRUST to build a HAPPINESS CENTER for the war-traumatized children of Northern Sri Lanka to heal their hearts. Our C.A.Network - YOU - donated more than almost €3000. So on February 12th, 2011 we were able to open the Center in Pooneryn. http://www.actlanka.org/2011/02/happiness-centre-pooneryn

This video you see here was recorded one day earlier when we were in Jaffna making final purchases for the center and came across the surprising performance of a schoolband just as we were putting the bookshelf on top of our taxi.

Michele and her organisation - the ACTION & CARE TRUST - are doing remarkable work in the North and the East of this country that is recovering from a 30 year long civil war.
