  • funny how everyone just starts walking to the target while someone else is still shooting :')

I wonder what kind of scores the top archers were shooting, and did they shoot the same distances as now? like 70 and 90 m

  • I like these old clips. I find them usefull for teaching as to how far we have come and how things stay the same. Old school yes, you can appreciate the equipment and style of the day.

  • 3:20? the string looks like its on the outside of her arm

  • No, the hand on the grip of the bow is generally very relaxed and without a bow sling the bow will simply fall. Watch a modern archery tournament and you will notice bows swinging after every shot due to the relaxed hand, and the fact that now people use bow slings :)

  • Rubbish, its because they have a relaxed bow hand and bow slings weren't invented yet.

  • yes, the arrow has more power and goes farther

  • can someone tell me why does the bow get droped after a shot is it suppose to make it go farther or stronger ?

  • Now is like launching a mini nuclear missile, even the arrows are made out of high tech materials.
