This is a short little video of Rex checking on a hive that we split from our larger hive shortly after they attempted to swarm. This hive has been going for about two weeks and we are looking for any sign of a fertile queen bee. While we don't find any open brood (signs that they have a laying queen) we do notice a lot of pollen and honey collection throughout the frames.

  • Loved the video! Clear and to the point! Also some nice commentary! Thanks!

  • Wouldn't be surprised if you did find some unsealed brood. They seem too quiet to be queenless.

  • What a video very interesting
