Don't Cry Tonight (89 Version) - Savage 1989 Italo disco ?

This was actually the first timer i ever heard any savage song, and the first impression i got wasnt good, its a late 80's milli vanilli style hip hop drumbeat with house sampling that was popular from 89 to 91. this tape was released by VSP in 1989, and i bought it used in late 93. It was only in 1999 did i hear the original dont cry tonihgt, its that difficult to get italo dsico in malaysia. I wished savage would have instead remade this song to late 80's italo disco style, similar to savage's own songs, i just died in your arms tonight, and goodbye. Eventhough i dont like this versions, i think its worth a listen.

It sounds too far to original release..late 80s weren't as remarkable as they were before,just my opinion... I feel house music with this song . Just times have much changed with their music and in the late 80s we could see of house music invasion

Very different, I must say. This remix is really different & too "busy" of a remix IMHO. There is nothing like the original version & I don't like the cursing samples either. Thanks anyhow.
