perhaps you would enlighten me with your insight and credentials, queen.

great tip, jeff.
can i ask a general forehand question?
i am a former college player teaching my young son the basics. given the mechanical differences between the so-called modern forehand and the traditional forehand, do you start a child these days with the 'low to high, linear, eastern grip' stroke or do you introduce the forehand as a semi-western stroke with the higher start and lower finish?
thanks.
