@ntrudr800 the m77 hawkeye is a great gun, and in .243 it has almost no recoil and is an amazin shooter. for 700 dollars i got the gun, a good scope, and a box of shells

I have been daydreaming for a while now... I'm thinking a .243 or .25-06 would tickle my fancy. In a new Ruger M77 Hawkeye Standard blued. I sure would have no regrets with one of them!
I hear good things about the R700, but the Hawkeye has all the features I like--and at a decent price.
