no class tomorrow b/c of veterans day :) but i have to register for classes & i'm the last group to register so hopefully i get the classes i want

Aimee's P.O.V.

I went into the other room to talk to Joe and I had absolutely no idea what I was going to say to him, but I guess I'll get it over with now.
"Hey," I said quietly as I walked into the room.
"Hey, I'm sorry about before, but I promise I didn't do anything," Joe said.
"I know, Devon told me," I replied.
"So you're not mad?" Joe asked.
"Not about that, but I know what you were doing," I said.
"What are you talking about?" Joe asked.
"You were trying to make Devon jealous," I stated.
"Oh," Joe replied quietly.
"Yeah," I said. "I know you still like Devon so you should try to get her back," I told him.
"Really? Are you sure?" Joe asked.
"Yeah, I mean at some point this would become a long distance relationship and I'm pretty sure that I couldn't deal with that, so we're better off just being friends," I replied.
"Thanks Aimee, you're pretty awesome you know that?" Joe asked as I laughed. "Are you sure you're okay though?" Joe asked.
"Yeah, I'm fine really, I promise," I said and it was the truth, I really was fine.
"Okay, and I'm sorry for everything," Joe said.
"Don't worry about it," I said. "I'll tell Devon you want to talk to her," I said. Joe nodded in agreement as I left the room to get Devon.
"What happened?" Devon asked curiously.
"He wants to talk to you," I said. Devon walked towards me. "Do what you want, don't worry about me, I'm fine," I said as Devon passed me so only she could hear. She looked at me curiously as she went to talk to Joe.

Devon's P.O.V.

Joe wanted to talk to me again and I had no idea what it was about. Aimee had told me not to worry about her, but I had no idea what that was supposed to mean.
"Hey, you wanted to talk to me?" I asked as I entered the room.
"Yeah," Joe replied as I sat down on the couch next to him. "Aimee figured out that I was trying to make you jealous so we broke up," Joe told me.
"I'm sorry, she didn't look upset," I commented.
"She wasn't, she knew that it would eventually become a long distance relationship and that in the end it probably wouldn't work out," Joe explained.
"I guess that makes sense," I said.
"You're not going to comment on how I was trying to make you jealous?" Joe asked.
"No, because I was pretty sure that's what you were doing and well, to be honest, I was doing the same thing," I said.
"You weren't actually dating Garbo?" Joe asked.
"Nope," I replied.
"Somehow that makes me feel better," Joe said causing me to smile.
"Was that all you wanted to talk to me about?" I asked.
"Not really, that was leading up to the question I wanted to ask you," Joe said.
"And what would that question be?" I asked curiously.
"Well, I was wondering if maybe you would want to be my girlfriend again?" Joe asked. "I would totally understand if you said no," Joe added. To say I was shocked would be an understatement. I guess I expected that Joe would ask me again after the conversation we just had, I just didn't expect it to be so soon, like 2 minutes after he and Aimee broke up. I guess this is what Aimee was talking about when she said do what I want and not worry about her.
