Lets not forget that Valve's Half Life 1 gave birth to all the FPS games following. It went HL1, HL2, and CoD4 as arguable the top 3 FPS games in order.

for me it was the the father of fps's was medal of honor but the master was call of duty and modern warfare series made it real
