Back in the day, I made a friend put this song in his car stereo and play it loud. His skylight BLEW OFF and exploded in the air. True story

@tpacklick Ah, okey, I didn't know Gore had been in politics for so long. Yeah, I've read a little about the PMRC, there's a pretty fun interview with Tipper and Jello here on youtube where they discuss it.
"What kind of example do you set for your kids when you lie on national television?"

I'd really like to know the lyrics to this song.
Isn't this Jello Biafra and Mojo Nixon?

@Viggetorr They recorded a version of the song, but this is definitely Eugene Chadbourne and Evan Johns.

@tpacklick Okay, then Spotify must be wrong, 'cause they have this exact version tagged as Jello Biafra and Mojo Nixon. Also, it looks like it was recorded a while ago, but they're singing about Al Gore?

@Viggetorr
1. Spotify is wrong.
From Chadbourne’s web site: “1993 - 7” Achey Rakey Heart/ Checkers of Blood was the single release in the UK from this project. A Jello Biafra/ Mojo Nixon mini-CD or EP from this period also featured the Achey Rakey track.”
2. Al Gore was vice president of the U.S. in 1993.

@tpacklick
Okay, then it's the same version on both CDs, that explains everything.
About Gore, I know he was vice president back then, but I was thinking even further back in time,

Back in 1985, The Parents Music Resource Center (PMRC) committee formed by four women, including Tipper Gore, wife of Senator and later Vice President Al Gore.
The PMRC was a favorite target of independent musicians, such as Chadbourne, Biafra, and Nixon.
