I'm impressed. The Professor obviously knows Yemen pretty well. He's bang on w/everything he mentioned. I would only add: That what they need in the center/South, is development. And allow the locals to participate,interact in the contracts&planning. Instead, a corp. comes in&deals w/Saleh. He appts. 1 or 2 from the region; and pockets the rest. . The US would have an adv. b/c of aide they provide. And not turn blind to corruption.It is this corruption that leads to rebellion later on.
