KOF 97 Arcade Run - Psycho Soldier Team 1/4

Alright, let's get started.

The King of Fighters 97 is the fourth game in the series and the conclusion of the Orochi Saga. This game was the first to use the "Advanced" system rather then the EX system. The ADV system ended up being used in a future KOFs. Also the introduction of the New Face team, Shingo Yabuki. In addition, Chizuru's become as a playable character for the first time. Unfortunately, the boss team and Kasumi both got the boot. And Mature and Vice, well.. Look at their ending in KOF 96. I think that's reason enough for them to not be in this one.

Now, in this installment, everyone got a new super! As for the Psycho Soldiers, Athena got her super Phoenix Arrow attack. Kensou got his Senki Hakkei (My favorite move) and Chin got his super fire combo. (don't know the name) Also, from here on out, I use the ADV system, so no more being cheap.

However, if there were any flaws with this game, the biggest one would have to be the lack of music. Only a few certain characters have music. And it can get pretty boring fighting with no music playing.

Whew.. Unlike 96, this playthrough was a pleasure to do. Considering how laggy 96 was, this playthrough was great. Very little lag and the sound is better. it does still cripple a bit, but then again, it does that even when I'm not recording, so no problem there. Now go ahead and watch.
