If you would never in a million years buy heroin from Afghan narco-terrorists, then don't buy blood diamonds, don't buy conflict minerals.
We shape the world when we vote. We shape the world when we buy.
With legislation, we can stop American manufacturers and retailers from unintentionally financing war.
America can be a force for good.
ENOUGHproject isn't saying we should boycott cell phones, which would be impossible.
What they're saying is that we directly reap the benefits of the mining of conflict minerals.
If we appreciate the gift that the people of the Democratic Republic of the Congo have given us, we should also car about the war that has taken five million lives.
The first step is to learn a little:

I agree.
We should do both.
Direct our governments to require that all conflict minerals be clearly labeled in large red letters on the package.
And then ban all conflict minerals.
