I wish aria recitals and video compilations (such as this one, but in its entirety) of the tenor. I just have a 3 sacred song cd sampler. He's something of a spinto Vezzani...really excellent.

Gorgeous!!! Monsieur Ciabrini issued a new CD of himself singing tenor arias. I think anyone with an interest in singing, and particulary perfect tone production should purchase it on the Malibran Music site. Compared to this flawless, incomparable singer, nowodays so called star tenors are little more than vocal invalids to be thrown into the Arno :-)

Bravo! Così si canta! Oggi si cantano questo repertorio o con voci da topolino (Florez) o con voci amatoriali (Calleja). Voci come quelle del Meastro Ciabrini non si sentono più. Un gran peccato. Non sì può comparare la voce del maestro Ciabrini con quelle dei divi di oggi - tutt' un altro calibro.
