This collaboration between The Wonderfactory and Time, Inc. is an excellent example of how tablets will enable the creation of innovative, addictive experiences by publishers, media companies, and advertisers.

  • the problem with existing tablets is that they have horrible user interface and software.

the ipad (next gen touch tablets and user interfaces) hopefully will bridge the great hard ware with new software and user experience

the apple ipad will be like the iphone was, it will make apples competitors rethink their products and software.

even if you dont like the iPad (or iPhone) you gotta thank it for helping technology, software and user interfaces evolve through competition.

  • Looks like a great app - maybe with all of the money they make from it they can pay for some therapy for the hands of the poor guy doing the demo who seems to be suffering some sort of rigor mortis

  • very nice video

  • good !!!!

  • wowowow the UI looks amazing

  • Tablets, I hope, will be used in the future as the Padd's used in Star Trek TNG, cheap items with good software that people pass between them and that can be kept in a small pile on the induction pad equipped sideboard in the living room to be used as needed. "Dad, I've found one of the datapad's down the back of the sofa again...."

  • @AaronBesson The iPad has indeed helped technology along. However, as for competition as the current flurry of patent lawsuits proves... its going to be a messy business. These patent disputes and big companies like apple being litigious could stifle innovation expecially in smaller companies. Don't ask me what the solution is however. Without patents, companies would not spend the money on R&D like they do.

  • iPhone 5 is waiting for you: goo.gl\k55ge
