I think Geller was indeed in time trouble, there was famous game against Sveshnikov where he made a blunder in time trouble while he had a good position. so maybe that is why he offered a draw.

Beutifuly Analysis. I enjoyed. It was fantastic. You can see my video about Firstsaturday chess tournament at youtube.com/watch?v=F6ya7cJnpv

please make the video louder its hard to hear you on a laptop
-
i like to call that situation: "knights helicoptering each other" sounds fancy ahha

Why doesn't black leave castling for later (and play normal development and trade knight vs bishop at c4)and put h5 to stop pawn storm and then guard his black bishop so it can't be exchanged. Then you can castle when u need the extra rook to attack!

maybe geller left the oven on at home? stomach cramps? headache? collusion?

thank you for this video
About N e4, In this situation it was clearly the best move but in general to knights defending each other isnt that strong, it is an optical illusion. often the knights get paralyzed because they need eachother. two nights standing side by side is in most cases much stronger (they cover more squares that way). maybe thats why korchnoi didnt play Ne4

your analysis of the game is better than the game itself.
By the way, Hiarcs 10 on a medium fast
computer like mine, finds Ne4 in one
second. Aren't chess programs great? lol

lol.
Sure they are much better than humans in finding tactics.
I've heard someone say: "My computer beats me at chess, but I beat him at karate" ;-)
