A short film about New Orleans 10 weeks after Hurricane Katrina. Directed by Gina Guillory and Loui Jason LeRoy, filmed during the 2005 Fall Semester for Louisiana State University. Premiered in December of 2005 at the Manship Theatre in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
The footage is from Orleans, Jefferson, and St. Bernard Parishes. Including footage from where I grew on Pecan St. in Chalmette.
This is one of my very first films.

Finally somebody shows something other than the lower 9th ward. ....places like Lakeview and St Bernard where middle class families worked hard to do the right and then have it taken away. Thank you for this perspective.
