  • Robyn's book is amazing, unique and speaks to a wider audience - I see Steve has his friend on here bashing Robyn. How many books have you sold Steve? Maybe you're feeling the pressure from some competition? A yound innovative woman. You come off as arrogant in this video. And it's..THIS..not DIS. Maybe you should ad proper Annunciation to your language leaning. Oh, and how many times have you been on the Bill Good Show? Or on Shaw TV Or Rogers TV or maybe Breakfast Television?

  • @BradwillB You are welcome to express your opinions. I take it you agree with Robyn. Fine. Some questions.

    1) To me Robyn has nothing original to say on language learning. You have trouble with me expressing this view?

    2) You dismiss those who agree with me here ,as just my friends bashing Robyn? Why? They are just people freely expressing their opinions. That's not OK with you?

    3) What is annunciation? Is this a religious term?

    4) How many languages do you speak?

  • Steve is correct. Can the woman talk any faster in English? And what specifics did she rally give? None. Steve is giving how to develop a comprehensible corpus.

  • Steve, you looked SOOOOOO bored. haha

  • @lingosteve I have to agree with you Steve. I understood Spanish since I was young but it wasn't until I went to Puebla, Mexico until I felt comfortable enough to speak. As for conjugations, I was drilled by my host sister. We used every word in a sentence, in past and present, over and over until I understood and could do it automatically. We didn't use a chart, we just did repitition and commonly used words in context. I have continued to use this method, and lingq follows it. I love it.

  • @BradwillB Do you think TV appearences determine whether someone has better ideas than another? I think Steve is really onto something and Lingq has helped me massively. Over time Steve and Lingq will get the recognition they deserve.

  • @BradwillB I don't understand what your problem is? Both these people want to help others learn new languages. So their approach is different. Diversity is the spice of life. That is why you want to learn another language in the first place correct?

  • slow down, lady

  • well, i think output is good so then people can correct you and you know where to improve on and gain confidence gradually... if you live abroad you are thrown in and you HAVE to communicate. Sink or Swim kinda situation.

Steve, I totally agree with content preference.

    Good videos! :)

  • I dislike the pressure Robyn puts on speaking and pratice of output.
