    it make me proud to be Irish and make me think of my granddad who died 3 days after Christmas and my auntie 5 day before so it make me cry and i'm only 10 and this is my other granddads fave song :( :)

    When I was in Grade 12, we were on a Trip to France, we Stopped by Flanders, and coming from a Family of Soldiers, I couldn't stop Crying, My Grandmothers Father, Thomas Whittle was one of the only Survivors of the Blue Puttees 1st Royal Nfld Regiment, 1080 came up from the trench, only 32 came back alive.
