  • Love watching the Scooter (A-4) in videos! What a plane!

Bet y'all lit up the place like the 4th of Chu Lai (July). Bad pun, sorry.

  • @SenorSpode Good one !!! We did light up the place like the 4th of Chu Lai !!! We used JATO most of the time we were there because we never had enough runway. We were at Chu Lai on July 4, 1965. Check out the rest of the Videos and Slide Shows and see the Blast Offs !!!

  • The Smoke is actually Liquid Oxygen. LOX for short. The Pilots need it to breathe at high altitudes. It is a very cold gas . The guys are breathing the gas in the LOX tent. It was very hot in Viet Nam during the summer, and this is very refreshing. This gas is also very flammable.

  • What was that smoke one guy puts his face into?

  • You got a nice shot of the horrible 'Ontos'.

  • hats off to the brave Marines, Army, Air Force and Navy guys who were actually in country....I was there, but on a carrier, so I wasn't nearly as much at risk.

  • Wow!! Ontos vid. I was with an Onto platoon in 1969, 69, & 70. Op Daring Rebel. I didn't think anyone even knew what a "pig" was!! Chamber doc.. I was on hill 55 for a short time 1/26 (ontos)

Oh for a can of ham & mother F'ers .. ha ha ha

  • excelent !

  • @angedediamant1 You, and IvanIsmailov who are obviously the same person, are obviously no in the military, much less have any combat experience. You are far to immature to have seen any combat. Once you've escorted your best friend's body home to his parents your outlook on life changes. You are flippant and you argue like an emotional teenager, not like a hardened commando thats been in the suck.

  • @IvanIsmailov A) You're not a veteran you stupid faggot, and B) I *want* to goto Afghanistan.

  • @naval8viator

You are a traitor of your homeland, an AMERICAN TRAITOR (and I hate all American traitors), America should send you to Iraq or Afghanistan to see what are your people-compatriots lived there in Vietnam.

First go to see what is war then you can join here coward, I am war veteran of special forces, and you should show some respect or I will kick your ass like your mom never do before, snotty !

LONG LIVE THE AMERICAN VETERANS OF VIETNAM WAR ! DOWN WITH AMERICAN TRAITORS !

  • @IvanIsmailov You're an idiot.

  • @ChamberDoc I assume by the youtube name you were an FMF Corpsman? If so, do you actually consider yourself a squid?

  • Great shots of the Ontos - Not many squids know what an Ontos was. I was in 1/9 and we were supported by a section of Ontos at Hill 55.
