Nice. Little off-road action at 3:10

It most certainly is not a TC/2000

Where did you get this bus?

chris, you rock! senators for life :).

The "C" actually indicates generational revisions made to the engine.
This particular revision, which goes back to 1983, was the final version of the classic 4.3" bore DT-466, as the 1994 and later DT-466s and MaxxForce DTs (and the larger 530/570 series) use the 4.59" bore.

The DT-466C was in production since the 1983 model year (fall 1982 production start), replacing the DT-466B produced from 1978 to 1982.

I gotta get down there and go for a ride! Definitely gotta do something in the spring or summer man.

Whats the difference between the DT-466-C and the DT-466-A (I know the A is turbo charged)
The C is also turbocharged, I'm not for sure about their major differences. I think it has to do with the addition of an intercooler or aftercooler
