You call this an inferior song...Are you crazed?. Underrated, it was a big hit on the juke box at the Derby Bar in Detroit for years...He is still as handsome as he was then..Another Canadian that got away....If I had you now, I'd never have to make it alone...

I can only hope any aspiring young artists.. the next generation coming up.. i hope they can find this and just listen. This was an artist. This is composing, writing, playing and singing. And its amazing and beautiful and creative and its substantial. This will last 100 years. This still moves people 30 years later. American Idol, Britney and Kanye are candy you regret eating. But this is what you want to find.

I can only hope the next generation finds this. And does it anew.

I just downloaded this onto my itunes. OMG I searched for it. The one I have is from a later performance. Burton and the piano and that amazing voice. Does anyone know if the original from the movie is available. I have looked for "melanie" not available. BUT I LOVED the music and BURTON..

This is an excellent video of a very amazing performer. Yes, those of you who are Canadian have every right to be very proud. I have been a fan of Burton Cummings for a very long time, and there is no equal to his amazing talent.
