Die Korvette 130, auch K130, Klasse 130 oder Braunschweig-Klasse genannt, ist die neueste Überwasserschiffsklasse der Deutschen Marine. Sie wurde in Ergänzung der Schnellboote entworfen und gebaut, dabei schließt sie die Lücke zwischen den großen Schnellbooten und den Fregatten. Die K130-Klasse verfügt über eine Reihe technischer Innovationen. Sie ist somit, auch in Bezug auf die Größe, ein neues Waffensystem für die Deutsche Marine, das als Korvette klassifiziert ist.

Calling the corvette 130, also K130, class 130 or Braunschweig class, is the newest surface ship class of the German navy. It was sketched in supplement of the speedboats and was built, besides, she closes the gap between the big speedboats and the frigates. The K130 class disposes of a row of technical innovations. She is therefore, also concerning the size, a new weapon system of the German navy which is classed as a corvette.
