  • i was driving home one time. i had my windows down, just feeling the breeze and it started to rain. seriously like pour, and of course my window has a short and wont roll up. this song was on and i just kept driving, while getting soaked, and everything was.... wonderful. sounds lame but it was one of the best drives iv ever had. think of it every time i hear this.

  • They used this song in an Episode of Numb3rs, good episode, reason I looked it up. Many thanks for posting.

  • Music like this needs a 'repeat button' warning label.

  • @breatheasy9er I love your story. simply beautiful, and simply beautiful how you took in the moment and appreciate it all and let it all add up to become moments of great feelings. you must be a very deep person

  • @BurlingtonNorthernRy same here man, now i'm a big fan

  • They remind me of the Decemberists and Eddie Vedder's solo album for "Into the Wild" all incredible folk music and I can't wait to buy this album i've had a bit of a taste of a few songs from it, gonna buy it and put it in my stereo with the lights off have a good listening session ;D

  • I wondered what the album title meant so I looked it up on Wikipedia:

"The title Ongiara was the name of the boat that ferried the band to Toronto Island, where they recorded the initial demo. "Ongiara" is also the original name for Niagara Falls; the name is said to have originated from the Iroquois word Onguiaahra and the local tribe of Iroquois inhabitants known as the Ongiaras."

  • One of the most compliceret and simple songs ever written about true feelings and lifes twisted ways.

I have loved Great Lake Swimmers for a couple of years now, but this song truely touched my heart.

This is more then a song it is art

  • @breatheasy9er It sounds amazing. The thrill of the water just rushing in and this song flowing around you. Yes, I do believe that sounds like a dream.

  • A friend sent me this song to listen to and I can't stop..... Amazing.

  • @BurlingtonNorthernRy same reason for me ;) it's at the very end of season 5

  • Heard this a couple of days ago on the local NPR station, loved it. Love it more and more each time I hear it, going on 30 times in 48 hours. Never heard of them before, apparently Your Rocky Spine was the hit off this album, but I like this one better.
