Lebanon, Pa.: SXSW 2010 Accepted Film

Will (Josh Hopkins), a charming 35-year-old Philadelphia ad man, heads to Lebanon, Pa. to bury his recently deceased father. He forms an unexpected friendship with CJ (Rachel Kitson), his bright, newly pregnant 17-year-old cousin. As Will becomes interested in CJs married teacher (Samantha Mathis) and CJ confronts her conflicted father, both struggle with formidable decisions about the path their lives will take.

Can we vault our differences and meet in the middle? This bittersweet comic drama tenderly explores the cultural divide in America through the lives of one extended family.

i lived in puerto rico...oh i mean lebanon for three looonnnggg terrible years!! nuthing but a bunch of dirty ass row and rooming houses. once you step over them railroad tracks and hit the northside crack heads galore!! I still cant get that damn spanish music that i always heard out my damn head..lol. So glad to be out scummy place and i will never go there again! Somebody had to have been on some pretty powerful shit when they decided to make a movie there..lol

im from lebanon to be exaact 11th and lehman st where the northside hustlas come from. lebanon is a place where you can raise ya kids but if they get caught in the underworld of the drug game it can be terrible.

I've lived here for 37 years...on the northside, it's not that bad, it's just boring, and since New York put signs up to get easy welfare here, it's gotten a lot of people that dont' want to work, I don't know about gang banging, I've never seen that.
