This is a older way of Screen Toneing (S.T.) that i wanted to remember. I use pictures of screen tones to do it. I will try to write out step bye step to show you how because i speeded up the video to save time.
Things needed:
1) Picture
2) PhotoShop 7.0 (or something like it)
3) Picture of Screen Tones
=============================
First close any opening in the picture, it does not have to be perfect unless your going to keep them. Use the Magic Wand Tool to high light the part you need to tone. Then use Magic Eraser Tool to erase the white leaving nothing. Now go to the S.T. you want and use the Marquee tool or Lasso Tool to copy or cut enough S.T. you need. Past the S.T. on the picture then re-size the tone to the picture. If your using Photoshop 7 then press "Ctrl + T" to fix the tone. Now move the Tone in back of the art. Erase any unwanted tone left. I didn't do this but it is a good idea to just go over the art one more time to smooth out the edges.

Nice video and drawing as well!
I haven`t really tried it out to create this screen tone effect on my pictures, but I think, I should give it a try.

@2econd2tage lol only if you don't have programs like MangaStudios. This was the only way i know how to screen tone with out it. Using real Jpegs of screen tones to screen tone.

It's not a good idea to stretch out a screen tone. Manga images should be in 1-bit, so I would've recommended maxing out the contrast on any layer containing a stretched tone.

@Sephiroth7734 True, but truth be told. I use programs like ComicWorks or MangaStudios. But your right, when i first started, i toned like this and learned that really quick.
