  • as a non-american I absolutely do not understand what is the goal of this ? showing the person's strength ? the bull"s strenght ? it seems no one human or animal is hurt this is fine ! maybe one good alternative to the so brutal and horrible usual rodeo things ?

  • @carmencru

Each country has it's own form of entertainment, whether we agree to it or not. As a Canadian, rodeos are part of our heritage. Training a bull or horse is no different then training a dog or cat. It all comes down to the person training. TJ was not abused at all. He had a happy home and died peacefully with the people that loved him. He was their friend, their pet... their family. NOT unlike your cat or dog. But because he is a bull... people freak. I just don't get that!!

  • @rheshaloc I'm sorry I did not ask correctly my question I really do not understand the exercice, what is it ? the bull must lay down over the person ?sorry if my question seemed irony, it is the contrary I really think that this exercice seems to be better than usual brutal things we can see. so can you explain what is the exercice ? the video is not speaking for a person who do not know it . thanks for being my canadian-culture professor :)

  • @carmencru

It's not an exercise... more of tricks taught for the purpose of entertainment. TJ was a bull that was rescued and these people just wanted people to see that just because he's a bull... he's not vicious nor mean, rather just a loving pet. :-)

  • @rheshaloc okey then my form of entertainment is to kill humans like you spains or the others coutrys does it to bulls

  • @justfor559

You must be a vegetarian then correct? We don't KILL for entertainment. We don't get our entertainment from jabbing spears in them like they do for sport elsewhere. Think you've got the wrong video dude... this bull is not being tortured, nor being killed. And if you don't like it, then why do you search out these videos?? I checked your profile... that's just creepy guy!!

  • Just a big ol' puppy. There should be more of this kind of video. And to the owners of TJ - you've earned my respect in a way bullfighters will never understand. It's nice to know there are people in rodeo that actually care about an animal's wellfare. Sad that it's so rarely seen.

  • I came here from watching some dude why died bullfighting and i expected someone to die...

  • @carmencru I believe the idea here is showing that the bull COULD kill the human with just one wrong move, but doesn't.

  • What at dumb show... is better being a torero.

  • just like teaching a horse tricks. I had a bull that was very sweet just like this guy. he took care of me when i was little on my uncle's farm. he died a natural death and was missed very much. so glad to see this!

  • I was raised around cattle and it's a relief to see people that are demonstrating a bulls level of intelligence and true nature. Instead of the ignorant assumption that all bulls are dangerous blood-thirsty creatures or that only rednecks (no offense to rednecks I take my hat off to the non-trashy rednecks they're some of the smartest and innovative people) stoop to training them. If I wanted a dependable bomb-proof mount a steer would be my first choice.

  • @carmencru There are a lot of Americans especially those that live in cities that incorrectly believe that bulls are vicious creatures. This 'exercise' serves to show that when bulls are raised and trained properly they are far from vicious and in some instances a far better mount then most horses. It also displays the level of intelligence of this specific bull and that bulls are not careless creatures, pay attention to how carefully he places his hooves.

  • did you eat it after it died?

  • @carmencru I'm American, and many of us barely understand it either. It stems from a long history of inbreeding within a community or county... This mainly goes on in only the mid-west/ mid eastern areas... You can spot these folks at NASCAR as well. Just stick to the coasts if on holiday in the US and the threat of brutal anal-rape will likelly be averted (travel tip)

  • Wow, actually a relief to see a bull NOT being abused. Trying to understand why some idiots have the need to create entertainment out of animal abuse. Heritage or not, it's horrific. People need to stop saying 'it's in our heritage' If something awful was in mine, i would say fuck it, i don't care about my heritage. I just don't get it.

  • @carmencru It's a bit like the same reason Australians like to watch Steve Irwin. The point is that this deadly animal has been patiently trained to "hug" its human but not hurt her, and that the human trusts the bulls' training enough to base her life on it. It's the training, and all of the self control necessary to acheive it, that's impressive.
