Virtua Fighter 4 Review

Virtua Fighter 4 marks the first time that the series has appeared on any console other than one of Sega's own. The fourth installment in the series is one of the strongest fighting games ever made and is certainly the best seen since Namco's release of Soul Calibur. i used to love this game....

even though dead or alive looks better and has bigger areas that are multi level....the fighting engine in VF is still unmatched

@HalSamuel If you want a casual fighting game. Just to have a good laugh and fun with your friends. Play Tekken, Street Fighter, MK etc.

But if you want a hardcore, deep, complex fighting game. Play Virtua Fighter.

I'm a big fighting game fan, never really played Virtua Fighter properly. This game got AMAZING reviews when it came out, but when I see videos it really doesn't LOOK like it holds up to games like Street Fighter 2, or Tekken 3. The animations seems stilted and unnatural, there's something uncomfortable about the whole movement. Can anyone tell me what I'm missing? Seriously I'm not some crazy fan boy coming here to dismiss it, actually i plan to buy it and make my own mind up.
