  • This explains their poor puncuality, delays and cancellations. Even their 737-800's are second hand.

    People complain about ryanair, but most of their 300 737-800 fleet are less than 5 years old and bought to order. In fact they currently have 4 in storage for delivery in early 2012, and nearly 25 of those currently flying were built in 2011.

  • @iberia77 Buy cheap, get cheap lol makes me laugh that Jet2 aircraft never stop, if they aren't flying passengers around they take some of the seats out and fly mail around, the aircraft really are in operation 24 hours a day, not a good idea with aircraft their age really, just asking for trouble. Also the 757 fleet are not up to much, if you look around the tail section of most of the 757 fleet there is a hell of a lot of rust, personally I wouldn't fly jet2 but that is just me.

  • I can't believe that Jet2 still flies wrecks like these....... Probably the only airline in Europe that still flies aircraft built in 1986................
