@MrHeadlessChook He built a super PC for $1300 instead which will also be easy to upgrade in the future if he needs to. Apple is one of the most arrogant technology companies out there in terms of compatability. THAT'S what is wrong with Mac's and Apple.

@MrHeadlessChook , it runs a ridiculous ammount of background crap that doesn't get used which does nothing but slow down your computer even just a small bit. Not to mention you can't exactly upgrade them or get replaceable parts without having to pay a ridiculous profit to Apple. If you want to upgrade your Mac, you have to buy a whole new one. My friend recently lost his Mac due to water damage, the repair cost was going to cost $2500 for a computer he bought for $1500.

What's wrong with a Mac: Pretty much doesn't work with anything that's not an Apple product without extreme difficulty. Apple's motto is pretty much "Our way or the highway"
Sure, they've revolutionized new technology, but they don't want outside companies products to be compatible with their stuff. Even adobe had to delay their release of all their CS5 software just because Apple refused to make their products compatible with a widely used program. Also, even while iTunes appears user friendly
