@1337inzock He had great skis indeed, but "just"... nah... The norwegians and swedes have amazing teams working with the skis and i dont think the others had bad skis. Look at how he went up the final hills... its not "just" his skis. But maybe you dont know anything about x-c skiing and i am wasting my time with this comment.

looking closer, northug lost the race at 2:53 when he waited for 5 seconds instead of giving chase. perhaps he was just too tired

@1337inzock he's right, if you don't have the strength or the willpower to conserve your momentum over the hills or the strategy of picking the right lines, than no wax advantage will save you. Every team there spends 3-4 hours waxing with thousands of dollars of equipment, measuring temperature trends, crystal size, and barometric pressure.

@1337inzock haha, you're a tool. Did Devon have better skis all the other times he beat the shit out of Northug as well? If you skied your self, you'd understand that the harder you push over the top of hills, the faster you go on the downhills... Northug wasn't able to push hard like devon so he didn't go as fast down the hill.
