Very short clips of my first steps with Native instruments' Reaktor!

I'm really stoked that it works so well without a MIDI Pickup. :D

I'm using an ensemble called synvoicizer, which recognizes the guitar's pitch and adds a synth sound...
...then it's going through a filter (analogic filter?) a compressor and finally a delay (space master).

  • Awesome, do you think it would work for saxophone?

  • @JonDGee

Well, it should if get a good signal by micing the sax. Maybe add a little compressor.

  • hi :)

i'm the guy who did the pitch detection part of the ensemble (synvoicizer)..

i was wondering, did you have any pitch tracking issue ? i'd really like to know :)

also there are several other guitar to MIDI converters i've made, you might want to check them out too..just search reaktor UL for FretKeys and VoiceKeys..

    thanks !!

  • @ReaktorFreak

Wow, cool thanks for the great ensemble.

I did this test only once and its been a month now, so I don't remeber exactly how the tracking was?

If I remeber correctly it was quite good. Only in the lowest octave it showed some weekness, but that's physics :D

If I'll play it again I'll give more concise feedback.
