Nick J Story -the life that leads a mistake - S2 - Ch.1

Doctor: CONGRATULATIONS. Its a girl.
Alexs eyes widen. She looked to nick and he kissed her forehead, as the doctor cleaned their baby girl off.
Alex was crying as the doctor wrapped her daughter in a pink blanket and handed her to her.
Alex: hello cutie
Alex: im your mommy.
Nick watched Alex and the baby in awe.
The baby yawned and smiled at Alex.
Alex broke into tears in disbelief that she created such a beautiful baby.
Nick: you alright?
Alex: shes just so beautiful.
Nick: haha i know. he said looking at the baby.
Alex soon passed the baby into Nicks arms.
Nick: hello baby girl. He said in a soft tone.
He rocked her gently in his arms, as he stared at her in complete awe.
Nick cautiously gave their baby back to Alex.
Doctor: so, have you two come across any names?
Alex and nick looked at each other.
Nick: uhh..
Alex: uhm..
Nick; hmm..
They both looked at the cute little baby.
Alex: she kind of looks like a Lila.
Nick looked closely at the baby.
Nick: lila he whispered.
Alex: hey lila she said in a high baby tone.
Nick looked at Alex.
Nick: Lila Jonas.
Alex: Lila Jonas she said with a big smile on the verge of spreading more tears of joy.
Doctor: Lila it is!
The two of them played with Lila for a few more minutes until the doctor walked back into the room.
Nick held Lila in his arms, and softly cradled her.
Doctor: sorry to interrupt, but Alex, I think you should have a rest.
Alex: yeah, Im exhausted.
Doctor: okay, and Nick youre free to you know, walk around for a bit, call friends and family or something because Im going to have to take your precious daughter to the nursery to take some tests. Is that alright?
Nick: yeah for sure.
He kissed Lila on the forehead and gave her to the Doctor.
Nick walked out the door, to the hall and into the waiting room.
Joe, Kevin, Amanda, His mom, and his dad were all sitting in a row of chairs.
Joe: ITS NICK.
Everyone rose from their chairs with excitement.
Mrs. Jonas: so?
Everyone stood there waiting for his response.
Nick: its a girl!
Mrs. Jonas: FINALLY! A GIRL IN THE FAMILY! no offense to you boys of course.
Kevin: Whats her name?
Nick: Lila.
Amanda: awe thats beautiful!
Joe: what does she look like?
Kevin: is she okay?
Mrs. Jonas: is Alex okay?
Nick: woah, uhm, she looks like a baby haha
Joe: no.. really nick?
Nick: you can go see her, shell be in the nursery in a little bit.
Mrs. Jonas: hows Alex?
Nick: shes good, shes just resting.
Mr. Jonas: my boy is all grown up!
Joe: so Lilas in the nursery?
Mrs. Jonas: then why are we still standing here! I wanna see my granddaughter!
Everyone began moving quickly to the direction of the Nursery.
Joe: Wait.
Everyone turned around at Joe.
Joe: wheres Frankie?
