Joe Mullally visits St Valentine's Shrine in Dublin Ireland. People call here to ask his help with finding love, romance, a loving relationship or their soul mate. The venue is especially popular around St Valentine's Day.
The saint was clubbed to death in Rome on 14th February in 269AD for supporting loving couples and marrying them t together, practices which were forbidden there at that time. His remains were given to an Irish priest in 1835 by Pope Gregory XVI. The casket here contains the saint's remains and a small vessel tainted with his blood. The feelings of timeless peace and gentle love which attend this lovely shrine are very beautiful, supportive, compassionate and special indeed.
