Drags and More at Crewe

As you maye all know, WCML are under going some engineering works between Crewe and Wigan. So Virgin pendolinos were hauled by class 57/3 and were divert6ed via Wilmslow, Manchester, Chorsley and into Preston were it will be uncoupled and carry on its journey. Same with the Liverpool service but via Wilmslow, Manchester, Newton and Liverpool.

Here we see 2 pendo drags, 2 voyager which were being diverted vua Chester, Class 350 which will start the jounrey at Crewe to Birmingham, Class 175's in full Arriva Livery with additional class 47 and 92.

These engineering works have been under going since mid September and will end at around Christmas. WCML only closes after 12 PM so before then, all trains are on normal service. This only effects Weekends.
