This workout is designed to tone and firm up your triceps(back of upper arm). If you are concerned that your arms are too flabby or don't have any shape try this workout 2-3 times a week.

  • Kewl! Thanks, doing low calorie diet and excersing past 2 months, lots of walking(4-7 miles several times a week)a little jogging, have lost 25 pounds so far, but I need to tone back upper arms(the bat-wing flab). I will try this. I have never ever had a flat stomach, always had the fannypack/pannus even as size 6,(size 10 now) with 3 kids, 2 csections, abdomnl hysterctmy and being over 40, the flat abs will never happen, but do you have a suggestion for the upper inner thighs as well?

  • @akewtipye

Congratulations on your success! Squats are great for thighs. Watch my legs and butt video for more leg exercises.

  • I need to ask what sort of beginning a man can take who like me, has only a very little detectible flexation of muscle action can take to begin a fitness programme.

  • I would start with taking several walks a week. Do five or ten minutes and slowly work your way up. Do whatever exercises you can in the videos. Start with light weights or even no weights if you need to.

I would check with a doctor first to make sure it's ok for you to begin exercise. They might even be able to give you some tips.

    Take care.

  • @ArthurNewYork1 That sentance makes about as much sense as a toenail as a tooth , sort it out

  • @ArthurNewYork1 just curious.. hows the work out???

  • Omg i never realized that instead of waisting money on dumbells i could've just used a textbook from school. :D -_______-

  • Wow, that's quite an accomplishment! Well, the idea is to keep your heart rate up for at least 20 minutes. You could run in place, do jumpingjacks or a compination of the two. They are such large muscles they take more energy to move them. You could squats for sets of 50 and take short breaks. How about run in place for a couple of minutes, slow it down with 50 squats, then a couple minutes of jumping jacks. Just keep rotating through the cycle. You can mix it up too.

  • i use to be about 200lbs ive made my way down to 135 im lookin to tone the last bit of flab i have i seem to just gain muscle tho and keep the fat . also i dont really have any where to walk bike or hike, any other suggestions? ( i use to rollerblade but i dont have a location to anymore anything fun like that u can think of)

  • You need to make sure you're eating right and doing some cardio work too. Walking, running, bike riding, hiking,or anything that gets your heart rate up for at least 20 minutes a day or more.
