Theatre Rice: How to Ask a Girl to Prom

CONTEXT OF VIDEO (Please read if you weren't at the show):

The scene starts with a classroom onstage, where one of the girls in the class (played by Mabel Zhuang) is asked "So who are you going to prom with?", to which she responds "nobody has asked me yet..." The lights fade and the video turns on, much to the confusion of the class.

As soon as the video ends, the door of the theatre opens to reveal the video's main character (played by Jacek Wnuk), who runs onto the stage and interrupts the class to ask said girl to prom, to which, of course, she answers yes. One of the guys in the class (played by Michael Choi) frowns and says, "aw man, I was hoping he'd ask me..." As the class is admiring the couple, the main character from the video raises an arm and triumphantly yells "IT BEGINS!", as a callback to a joke from a previous sketch.
