thats horrible! when you buy a bird, you have the responsibility of looking after it. if you were ill, your parents would take you to the doctors, so you should do the same. my bird had mites, and i bought her for £12, and i paid about £40 for veterinary treatment. just because they're cheap doesn't mean they don't deserve to live.

oh u have budgies? i have budgies also a boy & girl.
ive really connected with them alot.
i have 2 finches also. and budgies are a great companion!

My bird just died yesterday. I only had it for one week. She just kept biting herself and my parents wouldn't take it to a vet. I still have my male, but he might be sick too.

i have a finch too i had six infact but last night i put them outside in the balcony like usual but then a kitten (not mine)about the age of 3 months attacked 2 of em now i have only 4 left im in hell now n i dono wat to do cause i dont want the cat to kill the rest of em any advise will be appreciated also i dont know how the cat got m i kept em in a cage

My baby zebra finches died. You r so lucky that they haven't passed away.

I'm so sorry to hear that.
So far so good. They have grown so much in 9 days it is truly a miracle. I'll post an update soon.

my zebrafinches laid 4 eggs but for some reason nothing came out
also they`r breading so seldom i dont know what to do

It took 20 days before the eggs hatched. Only 2 of the 4 hatched. I was almost ready to give up. I read somewhere they hatch in 14-20 days so I'm glad I waited. Are the parents sitting on them?
I give them lots of lettace, calcium (cuttlebone) and egg, apparently this is good for them although I am far from expert. I rely on what I read on the internet.
I'll post updated clip today.
I sure hope your eggs hatch because it is a wonderful thing to experience!
