With my riding style a 26er doesn't even compare to a 29er. The RIP9 is an all-purpose trail bike with 120mm front/rear suspension...the big wheels make it ride like a 6" bike over rock gardens though. The only area where you feel the 4.5" is in a big drop. I take this out to Chadwick and it handles it like a pro though. So far I haven't found anything that it can't take.
