  • @JusJuiceIt I would encourage you to read a book by Hawking that isn't 20 years old. Regardless, you will never win anyone to Jesus this way. It's not like selling a vacuum cleaner or a sham wow. It won't work to insult people's intelligence, or deny science, or shout in showy platitudes.

And again, if you're going to argue against a worldview (Atheism in this case), it's best if you understand it. Mr. Comfort clearly does not.

  • Best selling book of all time..... that only 10% of Christians who own one have read through. Making it the most sold but least read book of all time!

  • It takes this surf kid 30 seconds to shut Ray down. "You can go find who built the building." Ray: "No you can't" Wow, that was some comback Ray! Then he says, "What if the builder died?" It's not about alive or dead.... there are city records within a couple miles of where they're standing that will tell you exactly who built that building... and you can look at the blueprints. "You can go find who built the buildings." "No you can't" AAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHHA!!!

  • @CtheWolfe I don't know. I can't think of anyone who has actually read the Scarlet Letter! That book is sooooooo dang boring! LOL

  • @Lohfert I know how you perceive religion. I am just being stubborn to make you see what you are really doing and why it is "technically" wrong. I have not even expressed anything about any scientific theory on here yet, so to say "You do not understand science." is a poor attempt to defame my intellect so you can feel better about tucking tail. Because you do realise I hope what it is I am saying. You are making and following your own version of Christianity.

  • @Lohfert If the bible is just writings of men and God had nothing to do with it why try to follow it at all? And I bet within that you cherry pick what you would like to follow. You are still picking and choosing what it is that you wish to believe. I cannot believe you do not see this.

  • @CtheWolfe Again ure wrong. The bible is written by man not one word is put down directly by God, all christians should know this. As you say guidelines! Not every single word in the bible is law. I follow it as well as I can. Anyway I still dont believe ure able to wrap ur mind around neither religion nor science. I therefore think it futile to try and convince you of the concepts as most ppl perceive them. But that's prob why u've had so many conflicts with believers. U dont get it. Toodles xD

  • @Lohfert I believe I have a better grasp on science and religion than you think. I understand fully with what you are saying, don't think that I don't. But those scriptures exist specifically for the concept of a god you say you believe in. They are supposed to be the words and guidelines set forth by the god you claim you believe in. Yet you ignore them and decide yourself what the religion should be. You do not follow the religion you claim, you have created your own version.

  • @Lohfert "Plus u've absolutely no concept of religion nor science when u state that there is a truth." There is known fact about the reality of the universe. Yes something could overthrow this a new "truth" or piece of evidence could change a theory, but there are some that are fact and it is so astronomically improbable that they would be over thrown. If scriptures were not there to describe and dictate for the religion what would the religion be? What would differentiate religions from anothe

  • @CtheWolfe U are radical and fundamental, cuz u demand that for people to be believers they HAVE to follow their scriptures 100%. Which is impossible and insane. Plus u've absolutely no concept of religion nor science when u state that there is a truth. You cannot prove anything 100% go ask the first professor u meet. Religion is not about one fundamental or objective truth, its about one subjective truth and belief. You dont seem to be able to perceive that concept.

  • @Lohfert "It's perfectly possible, can you not have a relationship to your favourite book char?" No. You can have thoughts about them. You can have feelings for them etc. But this does not mean it is a relationship. This is just personal feeling and thought nothing more. A relationship involves two sentient beings having feeling for each other. If one being fabricates the other that is just fantasy, even if the feeling is genuine towards the fabricated being. Its not real.

  • @CtheWolfe It's perfectly possible, can you not have a relationship to your favourite book char? I will state my previous notion: You dont get the concept of religion, therefore it would be futile for you to argue with any believers. You are absolutely wrong when you say we have to found our faith on facts. Nothing is fact, nothing is objective truth. Every scientist knows that. THey never state anything 100% true. You would have to expect that what you perceive is true, which u cannot prove.
