Truth be told, ninjitsu teaches you how to use your environment to your advantage. You don't have to take the course, but just make sure you stay alert to what's around you, what you are standing on, how many people are around you in case the fight goes bad. You can use obstacles to get in the way, or keep from getting them used on you. To be honest, I love all marital arts, I attempted to start a tournament, but I was 15 and it didn't last hahah.

@JACKOTACO That's if, and only if, you really think BJJ is about pulling guard. Remember that BJJ has its origins in a modified, more practical and realistic form of older judo. It's not just about guard - especially when someone does not know how to break their fall properly, the throws, joint locks, and fast submissions along with pragmatic thinking during the situation is enough to definitely take care of 2-3 people trying to rob you or your friend.
-
how are you going to stop 2-3 stomping on you? You may have 1 in guard what about the other? You do not have 8 hands and feet.

@JACKOTACO Actually most BJJ schools teach you a lot on how to deal with stomps while on the ground. In a street fight I can honestly say 2-3 boxers vs 1 black belt in BJJ will have the advantage of the black belt. It only takes a fraction of a second to throw someone, and not to mention 2-3 buddies being tossed around. Not to mention the plethora of other locks, etc. that can occur very quickly. When someone knows BJJ effectively, they can last a street fight with a few people.
I'm a 100x smarter MMA fan thanks to these 2 guys. The intricacies are unbelievable.
