he was actually a pure strat player in his younger days however he found the les paul and now seldomley plays strats. Both truly amazing tones, butpersonally the les paul does it for me.
@terzolilu :) Another way of explaining is also to say that to English ears Italian sounds cool, relaxed, sexy and rhythmic, so if you count-in in Italian it puts the musicians in the right 'mood' :)
